I just got my shiny new door hinges in from rock auto for my '67 Coronet. 01.jpg

You want to clean them with wax and grease remover.

NOT lacquer thinner.

Reason being the lacquer thinner evaporates too fast. The hinges most likely have an oil on them and you want to be sure to remove ALL of it.

Spray the w&g remover on it, wipe with a clean white towel. Lather, rinse, repeat until the towel comes away clean. Then epoxy prime and paint.

I would prefitted them first. I bought them for 69 b body and had issues. Had to made d hole on hinges and door Post larger. Doors fit well with factory hinge, but not with amd hinge

I will trial fit first, then clean, prime and paint

Yup...trail fit first. Most of this stuff is coming from China :( and usually has fit issues. Sick of paying good money for junk....

Been real busy lately but when I test fit I'll throw a few pics this way.:head_smack:
