Drip rail trim, correct screw?

Am I correct to assume that the correct screw for the rear "curl" piece (shown pegged in place with a THASS #8 for now)
is a raised head counter sunk phillips screw. The body shop was nice enough to apparently lose mine and looking at my Bird someone stuck a flat head C/S in those and that's not correct by look.

Can someone confirm.. #8 similar to this?? THANKS!

Yes, I have bought many at a hardware store to replace originals with messed up heads. You can replace many stainless screws with hardware store items. No one will ever know.

Thanks Jerry, just wanted to confirm correct head style... I have a few screws in stock! About a million or so.. but with my luck none correct. Will dig through my hangar NOS stock shelves tomorrow.

Some of mine are New, and all were from someone's Stock, but Old I can't be sure.

It does look about right and makes sense for the era, Sounds like someone stuck a wood screw in there....gawd.

If you're patient I have an undisturbed oem trim set and screws I could photo but meanwhile here is what is in the archives....
