I have a 67 R/T, bought in 2005. When I got it the guy told me the engine and trans came out of a 69 Charger. It has always started and ran fine until recently. It has a dual point distributor but the caps I have gotten from the parts store don't fit. the only identifying number I can find on it anywhere is a metal tag with 011075 on it. Suggestions or comments on where to find anything on it? I'm guessing it's an aftermarket is why the caps from the parts store don't fit.

That's not a stock dual point. That's why the caps don't fit.

No clue....maybe overall pix could help?? BTW, thats a "D" not a zero.

You are correct, that's an aftermarket distributor. You will need to know who made it to find a cap. @HALIFAXHOPS may be able to help you.

....or get rid of it & convert to electronic.

Looks lie a accell have a pic from the topdown?

Think a 57-58 gm 8 cyl cap and rotor works. No real benefit running that on the street and very hard to get parts for.
