Didn’t the factory have seams where the Dutchman panel met the quarter panels?

These two cars have gone through body and paint so I suspected that the seams were filled. My Charger still has seams.

Uhhhhhh.......wow. I'm sure nobody "added a seam". Convertibles are filled with lead in that area. I'm curious myself now

Hah! Dwayne had the same idea as me.
During the resto I had the seams filled. With weld not bondo.
 
No seams on convertibles. Seams on hardtops

Without the glass and speaker deck/package tray, the Dutchman is relatively unsupported.
 
anything to add rigidity to a convertible, it's totally different
