at 1st I thought it was a yet another cancer tread
like 'Clint' Eastwood had a 18# tumor (misspelled) thread or something
we have so many with cancer threads on here of late

Carry on

Yes, I go through one each year. Good for cleaning small parts. Mainly suspension parts. Better to get one through Harbor Freight. Much cheaper. Most of these are cheap made in China.

When I restored my GTS I went through two.

The one sold by Eastwood is made by someone else and an Eastwood label placed on it.
Shop around.
Whatever you buy don't use any media with any type of polishing agent. You will be using your ultrasonic cleaner to remove that schmutz.
Then back in the tumbler.....

I have a pile of used up eastwood/Harbor tumbler junk (WASTE OF MONEY and TIME babysitting/checking on it)

then I found
Thumler's A-R 12
I have 2 of them
many people use them for tumbling Brass for reloads
is how I discovered about them
that and rock/glass polishing
:usflag:USA made and you can get all the replacement parts from motor to Barrel to belt... it will outlast you.
the motor even has weep holes on the shaft for oiling
one of mine is about 12 years old and still going
only changed one belt and a barrel lid and I abuse it
and throw all kinds of stupid stuff in it.

I have a HF, and don't use it much, so I don't know how much life is left in it. Tumblers are a welcome addition in any garage.

found one for $60.00 new in the box less the material going to use for nuts and bolts and brass screws

I've been using a tumbler and a heated ultrasonic cleaner (mostly for cartridge brass) for over 20 years. With the right media it will clean, deburr and polish just about anything. I forget which brand it is, the sticker is long gone, but like most machines, you get what you pay for.

That guy has a home made screwdriver and a hand drill. What a cheap bastard he is!!!!
Was thinking when I saw it that was beyond cheap, miserly, yes. I have one of those crank drills, a hand me down. Used it once for drilling one hole because didn't want to run 100 foot extension cord. Been warming up to battery powered drills, haven't bought one yet.

Saw one made from a five gallon bucket and a lathe. I soak mine in concrete prep from home depot and then wax and grease remover and then paint.
