I'm working on a Charger, currently removing all the undercoating. This is a low mileage car, floorpans in very nice shape, only small amounts of light surface rust. Has anyone used eastwood's chassis saver paint? Does it work? Should I bite the bullet and epoxy prime, base/clear? This isn't a full blown resto, just a nice driver with a color change.

I put a thick single stage on the underside of my car and it turned out great! Can't confirm anything about Eastwood's chassis saver.. They do put on some nice products though.

I have used Eastwood rust encapsulator and Chassis black (original) satin and I really like the results. I would say it is good for a daily driver. Here is a non-mopar pic. (sorry)

THere is a ton of dust on it.

I've used most rust preventer's over the years, and "Rust bullet" is the best I have ever found.

The worst I have used is POR-15.

I can't offer any opinion on the "chassis saver" paint, as I've never used it.

My 2 cents anyway.

Never used any of them but I thought POR 15 was a good product?

Same here, maybe q-ship could enlighten us with the POR-15 experience.
