Of particular note is tomorrow night. That’s without the pussy windchill figured in.
Thanks to travel restrictions we can’t travel south at all, we can only go north. Up north they are forecasting -47 with a pussy windchill of -62. Yes, minus sixty two.
What’s odd is the relatively high humidity which makes the cold really penetrate. Usually when it’s cold the humidity is low, a “dry” cold that you can easily dress for.

We're looking at -38 coming up, again, without the "windshield". At least there will be more broke down chevs+fords coming in...

My freakin’ Jeep blows power steering hoses every time it gets this cold. It’s funny driving around town looking at “puddles” in parking lots and stop signs. You see lots of antifreeze where guys didn’t have the proper mix and it gelled and boiled over, and power steering fluid.

You have to take the hose in and get it built with real hose. Its a lifetime solution, and costs about the same or less than a new one.

LOL - what's 'north' of you to wanna travel to? Forecast in balmy WI isn't too rosy either.

There's a problem I'll never see around here! Wow, blown power steering hose? Have you used a synthetic fluid? Amsoil makes PS fluid that still flows below -50c.

It's freezing here, currently 66 deg F, with a low tonight of 34 deg F... :poke:

Yeah, we use that until the hose blows then dump in the cheap stuff until we get it fixed. Buddy at the truck shop is going to make me a REAL high pressure hose now.

Supposed to get nasty within a few days here, 1 month and I'm headed to warmer weather!

So is the Grand Solar Minimum causing these low temperatures? Or is this normal?
Or global warming? Lol !

We still get people who don't like to get all the snow off their car in the morning

Celsius ???

That's -25.7 Fahrenheit. In other words...FRIGGIN' COLD!!!
I experienced that cold once, in North Dakota. I was still running flatbed and took a load of steel to Fargo in January. 27 below zero, WITHOUT the wind chill!! NEVER AGAIN!!! Folding my tarps up was like folding 1/4" plywood. 5 minutes outside of the truck and it felt like my lungs were freezing up.
NUTS!!!
