Went there last weekend. The place is in the middle of nowhere , but man, he's got a lot of nice stuff. First building we went into had a 69 Daytona and a 70 Superbird side by side. They say he is the only person known to purchase on of each cars brand new and still owns them today. The Daytona is said to have just 30 miles on it and the bird has low miles too. I would have taken pics but they do not allow photos to be taken in any of the buildings. The museum is only open weekends during the summer. He also owns and operates a salvage yard next door. Hundreds and hundreds of cars.

I am in Prairie du Chien I will have to take a run up there and see it!Is the salvage yard all Mopar or mix of muscle cars?

Elmer's has been a recycler for years, I'm in for 30 his is older! Good to hear he still has the cars!

We were there on Sunday, the yard was closed. It looks like he has a mix of everything. I saw chevelles, Pontiac etc.
Google earth it and look at the satellite view. Tons of cars.

Elmer's

Live right across the river from Elmer's and used to buy builder late model cars from him. He is one shrewed dude! He is big into pedal cars and toys now. During the muscle car days he would get some interesting wrecks in the yard. I bought a 1969 Hurst Oldsmobile from him and drove it during my undergraduate days and sold the car to a friend who drove it for another 100,000 miles. Brings back lots of memories of days gone by. Spook.

We just got back a week ago from a roadtrip, went as far as Madison, WI. I was saying along the way that we are probably missing a bunch of car graveyards . I was right.

Btw, to all the Wisconsin folks...we visited your beautiful state for the Wisconsin Burger Belt. It didn't disappoint. We also had our fill of your beloved CHEESE. Nice people, great cheese (cojack my fav), Wedl's, Solly's, it was worth the drive.

Yes, Spook, he has pedal cars and tractors in just about every building. I thought I heard someone say 800+ pedal cars on display. Also has a full size running/drivable car in the living room of the house!
