my ex left me and will not be returning. he is an odd duck. long story short he owed me some money and said i could have everything. i have the car in possession but i have no title or i cant find it at the time. so as far as i know nothing i can do with that unfortunately. i have a written contract that i can have everything in his warehouse/shop. i have boxes and boxes of parts some not even opened. no idea what most of the stuff is. he told me i should go on a forum like this and he said that you guys would appreciate his stuff and i should try and sell it. i just have no idea how to go about it. ive done a little research about what things are worth but dont really care just want to make what he owes me back. what is the best way to go about selling these items? hell i dont even know if this is legal other then the verbal and written contract. the lease to the warehouse is in his name paid till february.

Pics to start with would help. We could at least help tell you what the stuff is....

Don't sound legal to me unless he signed the title over to you

Look up abandoned vehicle titling in your state. Fairly easy process with a few hoops to jump through. Easiest is to get your ex to sign it over. If he lost the title, you can apply for a new title wth the same hoops as abandoned title. Good luck.

I'm always buying 66-67 Dodge and Plymouth cars and parts. Pictures would be a great start.

If the rear bumper is good I am interested. ...maybe front too. Please let me know your prices and send me pictures.

You probably don't want to sell anything off the car itself. But all the parts you have need to be listed and pictures of them taken and posted. Maybe there's a member close by that could help you catalogue the items and give you an idea of what to sell them for. Take and post pics of the car too so if the title gets cleared you maybe able to sell it on here or get an idea of its value.

First, I would get to finding another storage facility for their parts or begin negotiating an extension to that lease, because it'll take you a year or more to unload those parts of you're looking to get a fair market value.

How about postig some high quality pictures of inside the shop so we can have a look around? When posting pictures, make sure the geotag feature is turned off, or or anyone on the internet will be able to view the gps coordinates of the photos and possibly rob you blind.

Also, I'm pretty sure we have members in your area, as someone mentioned, hopefully someone will step up and offer to help. You might post a separate thread to look for help. Of course, I wouldn't just blindly trust someone just because they're a member here, but it might be a start.

Many differences in a 66 vs 67 Coronet. So the vin would help, at least the first 7 characters. It will be a metal plate on the driver door frame. Should be something like WL41F72 or something like that.
Second, I don't know about Florida or other states, but ANYTHING pre 73 in New York State does not require a title. Bill of sale is all.
