I paid $500 to get my original recored. I had it triple cored.

With Glen-Ray you can't go wrong. Call him and talk to him about rebuilding yours. It will come back looking like new and done right and should be cheaper than buying a new replacement from him if that is too expensive.I paid several hundred dollars to have mine done locally and they did such a poor job I couldn't install it. Called Glen Ray and sent him mine and I could not believe how perfect the radiator he sent me back looked. Out of all the mopar vendors I've dealt with his work and his customer service is unmatched.. Call him, you'll be glad you did. I should have dealt with him before my local guy. Buy once, cry once...

Yep, if you can afford it, Glen Ray is the way to go especially if your tanks are still in good shape. I have a 28 inch radiator for my 340, but my tanks were completely shot, and fortunately, they happened to have a set of tanks, so basically they built me an entirely new radiator except for my original mounting brackets. It was more expensive then having them do a re-core done, but well worth it to me to keep originality.

I agree with Glen-Ray as stated. Get a hold of them even to simply re-core your radiator

if I did that I'd have to add a 1000 dollars for shipping to and from

I bought some car parts from down under, and the shipping wasn't as bad as I expected, in fact, it was cheaper than some parts I purchased in the USA, and they arrived in 2 days. Doesn't hurt to call them and at least discuss what it might cost.

A phone call and an over, the phone estimate doesn't cost you anything......

You can partner up with someone shipping a container of parts/car over.
