Fan spacers

Hi, anybody ever doubled up, ( used 2 spacers) on fan for rad ? I have 2- different ones, just got to get fan closer to rad

sure.i have done it in the past.just use good quality bolts.

Heck, I've used 3 or 4 shims plus a big spacer. I originally did it just for mock up but it ended up staying for a while lol. You know how that goes. Never had a problem.

Solid fan? If it's in good shape and balanced, and you use the pilot hole in the center, you might get away with it. I'd still worry about high RPM operation. Clutch fan is less likely to cause problems.

It's a New Derale fan, flexible, but not like those cheap flex fans ?

Don't know about that fan but mock it up on the pump with no belts and all your spacers and make sure it runs true.
