That's too bad he was a spirited/patriotic poster in the PF especially

Opinionated for sure,
pretty much agreed with most of his thoughts
his numbered posts, especially --- Thoughts of the day # ??

RIP Bob

RIP Bob.

It's a bit like the Wizard of Oz, unfortunately we only get a glimpse of him after the movie is over.

R.I.P.

Condolences to his friends, family, and the cat.

I was wondering, since I hadn't read any posts by him recently. A very intelligent man, although some of his commentary may have rubbed some irritably. However, his contributions have made an indelible mark on the FBBO community. R.I.P. Mr. Bob Renton, you will be missed. Just my opinion... of course. ( Thank you for this posting of his passing. )

Bob has a short thread on the welcome wagon forum where he introduced himself in 2015.

How time flies.

I will miss the debate he sparked here. So many times I agreed with what he said, just not the presentation. As a fellow GTX guy, I appreciated his views on not messing with what the factory created. No question, he loved the cars as much as any of us.
