Pictured below are Federal/TRW power steering pumps used on A Poly and B/RB engines from 1960-1966 and probably before and after. Poly or B/RB, all share the same core casting with slight differences in the pulley offset, reservoir can, and the shape of the return hose nipple. The #1 problem with these pumps is reservoir to housing leakage. The o-ring sealing the reservoir can to the pump casting becomes brittle and fails causing leakage. Rarely does the pump ever require rebuild. If the backside of the pulley is oiled, the front seal is leaking and needs replaced.
A rebuild kit costs $40-$45 to get the o-ring and the reservoir attaching gasket, leaving the rest of the kit unused. I have Leak Repair Seal Kits available for $20 ($23 via PayPal) that are just the o-ring and reservoir gasket. The price includes shipping and handling to your door anywhere in the lower 48.
