I'm installing the window regulators after several months being off the car and to double check myself could a fellow 62-64 B Body owner send me a couple pic's of the felt or "whiskers" as they are on your car? I think a photo of the top of the door and quarter window (convert or two-door) could do it for my point of ref. Thanks much!

Sorry to hijack this, but which of the screws/bolts on the inside of the door does one loosen to drop the window. I need to drop the window so I can remove the outer cat whisker. Just trying not to reinvent the wheel. Thanks

Thanks got it figured out once I took a closer look as the pieces in the kit I bought were somewhat different. On another note there is small trim strip at the bae of the top trim beneath the 1/4 window on the 2dr/converts. I'm having a tough time finding the little "H" clips and wonder if anyone has located replacements? Will send pic when I get back.

Ski61701 - I may be able to tell ya more later today (something I'll try with your question in mind) as I'm re-installing all of the window regulators today hopefully. However, my guess is trying to lower the glass to take out the felt could be tricky without removing the glass. You obviously don't want to lose the glass in the door dropping the connections or have glass banging into the hardware....the front door windows attachment framing is part of the upper regulator system.

Thanks for any info you can give me, I'd really appreciate it. Yes I definitely dont want my glass banging around and possibly breaking. Glass and I really dont have a good record.
