Fender hardware ?

On a 68 net, there is a flange at the bottom of each fender, with 2 slotted bolt holes, to secure it. Its been a few years, and i didn't bag n tag very well. I found 4 studs and 4 nuts, with kept washers, in my parts stuff. Is it studs and nuts with large kept washers that are used to attach and adjust the bottom of the fender, or were bolts and washers used ?

Your first statement I believe is correct. Along with the studs and nuts are J nuts and thick round fender washers/shims. Just wait for a while their will be more chime in on this subject. Hopefully with pictures. I would show you what I have but they are at the shop waiting on pre paint.
