In the second row of numbers from the bottom of my fender tag on my 69 Bee I have Y2 Y2 H2X X9. Does the Y2 repeated twice indicate the original interior and exterior colours of my Super Bee is SunFire Yellow? Have no idea what the H2X and X9 refer to.

No, just the exterior was yellow. H2X is black interior, and X9 is black upper door frames.

It means it has the same color roof as the rest of the body and not a 2 tone paint job or vinyl top.

H2X is High price class black interior with X black upper door frames.

All of the above is correct. I believe H2X is the black upscale bench seat.
Is your Bee a lynch road build? (seventh digit of Vin would be an A)
The x9 is the inside upper door frame, above the door panel.

Yep. Seventh digit is an A. Is there any significance if the car was built at the Lynch Road factory?

Just that the three factories that built bees and rr all used different formats and information that they would put on the fender tag. LR tags were supposedly hardest to read, and had the least info. It merely confirms that we are reading your tag properly.

Thank you.

All three plants have that same info in the same order on the second line of the tag.

You had a 33.3 % chance and nailed it. Good job.....
