Fender Tag Decoding

I just purchased a 1972 Dodge Charger SE 440 Magnum. The paint code reads 293 which I believe I was told was car #293 for a Special Factory Ordered Paint. I'm just wondering if anyone can figure it out. Thanks

Looks like it might have been a white car - possibly a special run of a different shade - and possibly pinstriping? EW1

Nice find

Special order paint code.

This car was painted whatever shade code 293 represented. It has nothing to do with counting anything.

The K VON was used to help designate Special Paint cars.

Did you find a broadcast sheet?

What color does it appear to be?
