Has anyone attempted to make a functional fiberglass ram charger hood before? Inner structure make it pretty heavy though to bolt the induction on? I think that would be pretty rad. I am just burnt out on the 6-pack hoods......

That would be cool. Could fab something up on your stock steel hood with a dual inlet covet like on the spectra kits and connect it up its just for under the scoops where the fab part would come in to play.

find a N96 Ramcharger Air box & assoc. air cleaner & seal etc. complete {maybe a reproduction} & all the working hardware, they ain't cheap thou, but it could easily be done... you could use some 0.030" aluminum to make the structure/air-box, it doesn't have to be huge, it just needs to direct the air into the top of the air cleaner base/plenum/box or straight into the carb if for only track use... problem is a flat hood doesn't have much room for a decent real hi-rise intake & carb with an adequate air cleaner & flow of air, that's good reason why so many people go to the 6bbl/six pack hoods.... besides they look damn good
