Those of you with fiberglass deck lids what are you running for a seal in the trunk? Anyone have pictures? I have the pin on deck lid from sledcity. It want to make sure it seals up because its not just a race car, it will see some street time.

Depends on the trunk lid. 'Race' lids are usually pretty flimsy and unfinished on the inside, 'street' parts are often totally finished on both sides and look almost like steel with the same sealing surfaces. If yours isn't finished, do you want it just rattle free and dust proof, or does it need to be water proof too? For the former, I'd run weather seal foam on the lid to mate up to the body seal. How thick would depend on a measurement to see how much gap you have.

I want it to be water tight. I don't plan on driving in the rain, but as a suedo street car I might have to at one point or another. I got the race decklid, but we made it hinged using the stock hinges and a frame we built out of some 3/4 by 3/4 tubing. I was mainly curious to see what others had done. I know there plobably arent a lot of other cars setup like mine

no, the fiberglass decklid isn't nearly as thick, it doesn't even touch it
