RS23L9G-The body was stripped to the skeliton sandblasted, sealed, and every panel, including floors replaced by AMD installation center in Georgia. They also did a rear mini tub that looks like factory ( a 15" wide rear tire will fit easily). At a cost of $22,000. The only VIN # is on the dash, as all other panels have been replaced.
I bought a new 6-pack hood from year one for $1050.
I then paid a body man $8500. to prep the body for paint. Al gaps are correct, and high and low places finished, except for hood that hasn't been installed yet.
472" Hemi, dino'ed at 630HP and 577TQ. Built at Big Al's Toy Box, you can look him up on line. Guainteed for 2yrs after start up, I haven't started it yet. I have all the paper work on the engine, cam specs, valves, pistons, dino sheet, etc. Some one paid AL $4000. deposit to build this engine, and then never picked it up, so He gave the discount of $4000. I paid $16000 for the engine. The cam will handle a vacuum brake booster, and/or air conditioner compressor.
Tremec 6- speed trans from American Powertrain with their Pro Fit Kit, Science friction clutch, flywheel, Quick time bellhousing, and Hyd.throw out bearing, and crossmember. $9000.
RMS front rack and pinion suspension $4000. RMS street links rear supension $2000. with Moser 49" housing, Moser axles. Moser 9" Ford type 3rd member $1800.
New Painless wiring harness. Frame connectors from UScartool. Wilwood 14" disc brakes, with 6-piston calibers on front and 4 piston rear with park brake shoes. New, powercoated, fuel tank, sending unit and vent lines.
I have all the glass and window regulators and trim for the windshield and rear glass.
WHAT THE CAR STILL NEEDS Paint, complete interior ( all I have is the rear seat and it may not fit due to the mini tub) radiator, fuel system from tank to carbs. I have both bumpers, but they need recromed, Needs alternator and brakets and power steering pump and brakets. instrument gauges. I may be forgetting something.
One problem with transport is that since I put 14" discs on it, it has to have 18" wheels to clear and I haven't ordered them yet. If need be, I can pull the engine and front supension and put the old K-frame back on it, which does not have the Hemi engine mounts.
If finished right, this could be the best 69 GTX on the planet, except maybe a #s matching original. I've got over $70,000 invested, plus alot of work. I'm asking $40,000. OBO for it.
