1970 Plymouth Satellite Convertible. It is a 440 Automatic, with TTI exhaust, and Edelbrock aluminum heads. There is a glass rear window and has power brakes. The car was restored as a Road Runner clone. It has been owned for 30+ years by me, its clean and runs without problems.

Honestly, can anybody just leave a classic Satellite alone anymore? Does the world really need another Roadrunner clone?

IIRC it's factory 383-2 car

RH27L-

L is 383-2 in 1970 and 71

Nice car. Just leave it as one of the few Satellites left.
There's not much difference between the Satellite and RR, as we all know. Basically drive train, hood, dash, and exterior trim/tail lights.
I've had 3 70 Satellite convertibles and a 70 RR HT. My current ride is the B5 droptop. The previous owner eliminated the chrome trim and put in RR tail lights when he restored it. No RR badging. No bulge hood, non-ralleye dash. So is it a RR clone? I don't think so. When people ask me what it is, I proudly tell them it's a Plymouth Satellite. However, I would put on a bulge hood with zero hesitation because I think it just makes it look better.
Unless a car is a high dollar totally original machine, I say whatever makes the owner happy is fine by me.

I have a RR hood on my 73.

it is for sure NOT a RR clone

if anything it's an SSP clone
