For The 60 And Over Members Here...

I got a better idea for you Ed, why don't you take your pissy *** **** comments elsewhere and not destroy a decent thread that might help others??? I forgot, your a outta work slug, so it's all about you right now! GFY!
Reading comprehension skills lacking in your neck of the woods, I see.
What you suggest I do (ANOTHER guy trying to tell someone what to do. Sheesh.) is EXACTLY what WAS going on
up until someone showed up and told all of us to shut up and stop whining, suggesting his maladies were superior to
our own because they were "manly".
Nobody asked for insults and putdowns - we were having a discussion and folks were relating their own
experiences and health situations, which IS the topic of this thread after all.
Folks like Mr. Manly there - and now YOU - are who have decided to try and interrupt the discussion, offering
nothing of substance or advice or wisdom in the process.

Tell ya what. He couldn't tell me (or anyone else) what to do.
Neither can you.
How about all of us post whatever the hell we want?
Nobody is here for your approval - or his.

Nope!!! Not even there yet. On this point you are sadly mistaken. Nothing from my Pulmonologist or Respiratory Therapist has been suggested as my next step and all tests and Xrays/scans have shown clear lungs so no O2. Besides, I won't be tethered to those things as every time I go to the VA, I see all these Vets dragging that damn bottle around or a bag with a tube strapped to the nose and shoulder. That ain't me and it will never be...cr8crshr/Bill:usflag::usflag::usflag:
Have you had a lung wash yet?

Computer questionable, but it works for me.

I pray none of us get it, but if we do...that it's only a light case.

I am still going to work, but I'll be hunkering down outdoors very soon.

Ok, I'll play.
What's a "lung wash"?
A pulmonologist performs it. They put you under and literally wash the interior of your lungs with saline solution while supplying oxygen.

Is this what it feels like to be Health Shamed. Some of us OL' TIMERS are just too healthy to participate in this thread.

Even with the O2, it sounds more like waterboarding to me!

barbee6043 is your middle name lucky

Sometimes I really think God rides double with some of us.

At 25 about '73, I was hit head on by an 80 mph drunk in a big Lincoln racing his girlfriend back to town after their night out drunk. I was pulling a flatbed gooseneck with an old MF65 and some equipment. It was chained down with big log chains. Killed him. After I came to I found the tractor busted loose and sitting on top of the gooseneck. It shattered my kneecap and cut the tendons there clear into. It took me a yr before I could squat again! That leg has always been a little shorter after that.
2 1/2 yars ago I was trying to have a heart attack. I wound up at a Houston burb hospital for a triple bypass, right as the Great Houston flood began but that is another story!! lol
