Found factory remote pass miror cutout

While changing out my upper door panels, I noticed a perforated circle for a remote mirror "joystick" on the pasenger's side.

I've seen pass side remote mirrors with the joystick on the pass side on Chryslers, and I've seen the 75 and up pass side remote with the joystick mounted near the ashtray...

...but I've NEVER seen a 71-74 B body with a pass side remote mirror.

Has anyone?

Nope, nor can I imagine a reason why anyone would put one there. Having one on the driver's side makes sense, but not the passenger side where the driver can't reach.

They use the same door panel backing on both sides, just reversed. Saves from making two different ones.
If any car has passenger side remote it sure wouldn't be on the door where you can't reach it.

Hey now. Some drivers can reach.
