I arrange mine as close as possible and carefully put them upside down on a copier.

Mine found me the original fender tag that a guy I know had since 2005 when he found it in a 72 charger center console when he was stripping it.
so there is always hope

Dawg, no luck finding one in the back of the back seat springs?

I bought a '73 Challenger years back. The car was a mess with rust, and a torn up interior. Opened the trunk and noticed the cardboard was missing on the back of the seat. Starring right at me was the build sheet, in the springs, in perfect condition. Wish the car would have been that good...

I also found mine under the back seat springs. It was in excellent condition except for the spring outlines on the sheet. Not bad for a 48 year old car.....

All I have is this....

I found mine under the driver side carpet behind the driver's seat (in the back seat area) with one of the seat bolts going through the middle of the paper. It has been there since 73 and nobody found it until a couple months ago and I know at least the last two owners looked hard for it, but they never looked under the carpet.
