Front disc brake conversion question....

Pretty sure 70 b bodies were front hung calipers from the factory as well. Need to look at the FSM to confirm though.

Okay so see if you can actually get that hose routing to work. That style of caliper is designed to point the hose thru the suspension to a hard line connection in front of the shock. You are going to be routing the hose with a bend in it. At full lock it might kink. If it was me I'd either front hang those calipers and use a straight hose, or I'd get the FMJ style calipers that are designed to be rear hung. Here is a picture showing the difference.

The hose does not fit quite the way it should IMO but not terrible either. It is long enough so that it will not form a sharp radius bend and kink but will definitely keep a close eye on it.

The components to this kit seem to be of good quality but some of the fitment is a bit odd. The other issue with the kit is the large offset bracket that goes between the booster and the firewall.... it puts the master out in front of the shock tower and looks plain retarded so I’m working on mounting it directly to the firewall but that makes the pedal linkage “custom” as well.

This is the bracket...
