I am looking for the front windshield molding clips for my 64 Polara. I ordered a set from Altha Fastener, but they were the wrong size. According to John at Altha, Mopar used 3 different size clips. I have the large ones he does not have. They measure about 1.355 X .515 inches. Any one ever have the same problem? Know where to get them? Thanks....

Mine are 1 inch long + .385 wide sorry, I have a couple parts cars I will look at them.

I was under the impression that you could replace the larger ones with the smaller ones, and they would work fine...? I've never been able to find the larger ones new, but I put the smaller ones on my '64 Polara (it didn't have any on it when I got it), and the trim clipped in fine. I suppose it could have originally had the smaller ones, but I've never seen any difference in windshield trim pieces; if the trim I have clipped in, I don't know why yours wouldn't. If your glass is out, you could do a test run and put a few of the smaller ones on with just the glass gasket and see if the trim clips in and looks right
