Fuel Gauge Sending Unit 65 Plymouth Belvedere II

Hey everyone!

I'm a bit of a newbie to mopar and to my new 65 plymouth Belvedere II (slant 6, 225ci).

I have a new fuel gauge installed but it looks like my sending unit was fried as well as my instrument cluster. Is the sending unit something I can pick up at any parts store? Anyone have a good idea what I need and where I can get it?

It is not an auto parts store item! Sounds like your voltage limiter shot craps if your cluster is fried!

The mechanic found a short in the wire where the previous owners tried to get it to work. Shorted out the cluster and the sending unit. He was confident that was it.
