Fuel pump eccentric button washer?

I took my sons timing cover off of his 1974 charger with 360. Actually 408 striker after the eccentric sheared off the woodruff key. The only pic I found shows the button washer with the dome facing out. The machine shop installed it with the dome towards the cam? Which is correct? Thanks

Thanks. I am glad I didn't just put it back together the way they had it. Wondering if that's why it sheared off the end of the woodruff key? Also noticed the eccentric was cutting a good groove in the timing cover. Good thing it quit when it did
