Looking for some input from the guys who have been there. I replaced the floors in my gtx years ago, when I was learning to weld, and all that were available were the left and right partial repair sections. Now looking at my old repair, I realize I could have done a MUCH better job with fitment. The left side is actually sunken in lower than the right side, and the right side oil cans when you get in the car. And it all just looks like *** to boot. Anyway, I want to put in an amd full pan and rear sections this winter. however I'm not at all interested in pulling the engine and trans out again to do this. I know I can work around them, but i'm concerned with the stability and flex of the car once the pan is out. My theory is to level and support the car using eight jack stands, four where the subframe connectors are attached, and four under the front and rear frame horns. Does this sound solid enough? I could also fab some bolt in braces to run from the door latch to the hinge pillar?
