Spent the day erecting new Bus Stop solar lighting, and some of the poles proved a challenge in more ways than imagined. I certainly ended up covered in crap this time.
Digging the footings are part of the fun - lucky it's Winter time and the ground is soft still.

The best was yet to come....
A simple maths equation for you to solve;

Water weighs 1kg per 1 litre
Pole height = 3.000m
Pole diameter 65mm, wall thickness 3.2mm
Hole at base = 6.0mm diameter
Hole height from bottom = 50mm
Air temperature - 17 degrees Centigrade
Elevation = 25m above sea level

What is the water pressure at the time of release?
Answers on a postcard, winner gets a Chocolate Fish (or if @polywideblock gets it first ...a chocolate fush) :p

Here's a clue......

Just gotta ask........but why would it matter if the pole is just holding a sign?

Looks like ya did a nice job!!

you must have been sleepy when you put your boots on this morning...ya gots two different ones on! :poke:

I would try and do the calculations if the measurements were in ENGLISH! :p

Sorry Mar.....I'll convert it tonight just 'cause you asked

4.22 PSI 3m is 118.110236 inchs and 28 inchs to 1 PSI as height is all that counts

If you would have drilled the hole a little more to the left, you would have been polishing that white car!

Try cutting a pipe with water in it useing a cutting torch.

Thanks for sharing!

Oh, by the by, what is a chocolate fish? (I think I'm gonna be sorry)

Minus 17 degrees Celsius is near zero degrees Fahrenheit, I didn't think it ever got that cold there, how can you be in shorts outside all day?

How can grass be that green at the stated temperature?
NO snow accumulation?
The data set seems flawed somehow.
Unless you are presenting a totally random question with no reference to tge job that day.

it was 15*C(59*F) over here in oz yesterday (it is winter), I'm guessing it was 17 * C(62*F) not - 17*C (-1.4*F)

Man, you're starting to sound like the Granny running our office admin.
