Everything you buy from Harbor Freight get the next bigger size or two. 2 ton jack stands? Nope, go for the 6 ton or better yet, the 10 ton. 1000# engine stand. do yourself a favor and get the 1500# unit.
 
That's the look on my face when I hear harbor freight, maybe northern tool too.
What's wrong with Northern Tool? The Northern Tool by me sells quality, name brand tools. I purchased a Milwaukee M12 cordless ratchet there recently. I'd like to know what's in your tool box and where you shop if you don't like NT.
 
Hey I just bought a jack from h.f. my old one lasted 10 years . Let's see how this one goes!

I do buy my cut off wheels and grinding disc there zip ties and ratchet straps stuff like that oh my trucks socket set is one of there's ,it's never failed.
 
My brother in law filled his shop with harbor freight tools. Jacks, stands, engine crane, you name it. I am kind of curious to how it works out for him.
I bought a spring compressor from Harbor freight. It will be a very limited use tool but it worked fine.
They opened a store near me, and when I drive by it there is always quite a few cars there
 
I bought a harbor freight 1/2 in hammer drill to do hurricane shutters at my florida house, it cost 35 bucks...I wouldn't expect a long life out of it if i used it everyday hard but it did the job i got it for.
 
That's what's good about a place like HF. You don't have to spend top dollar on a tool you might only use once. Just be smart about it's safty and ease of use.

I certainly wouldn't get under my truck with the wheels off and all of their jacks and stands in place! I put a wood block under the jack just changing a tire!
