A very close friend of mine happens to own a 70 mustang with 351C 4sp etc. This thing needs significant front subframe repair which we have started. So we decided to ride up to carlisle, which isn't far, to visit the vendors and buy some stuff that we haven't yet.
Well....what a disappointment. There were hardly any vendors of any products. FOMOCO was there naturally with a bunch of stuff. There wasn't a full show field either.
I guess I'm spoiled by the Chrysler show and the participation with that event.
Best thing was having lunch at the desperate times brewery next door. Also, the fairgrounds diner has changed hands it's now some kind of crabhouse and something.

Too bad about the dinner. Been going there many years. Great food, staff and service.

I think the weather has something to do with turn out. Looked like Carlisle was in some serious rain the majority of the day. Should not have affected vendors showing up. We have the NSRA meet in York this weekend and yesterday was slow. I register before I head in and I was only 2100 late Thursday, show usually gets close to 4000 in years past. Also vendors are non existent, compared to years past. Hopefully not some sort of new trend.

I agree about the weather. That is why we went up yesterday and not today. But it just sprinkled some in the morning, not bad. You're right though about the vendors though they should have been there

I believe the Chrysler show is their biggest event.
