Decided to take a chance and order the Proform electronic conversion kit, ordered it from Roush/Yates racing yesterday and it shipped today. Will be following that up with a new coil, plugs and wires. Thinking about something called an E3 plug with a diamond electrode:

That electronic conversion is a solid $80. cheaper than the mp kit. I wonder what the difference is? Let us know what the quality is like.

That is what I thought and with Roush/Yates selling it I thought it must be pretty decent.

Turned out fantastic, everything in, few adjustments on the vacuum advance and wow, what a difference, the Proform Distributor, E3 plugs, Accel 8030 wires and MSD Blaster 2 all work well together, this is turning into a great car!
