If anyone is in need of a heater control valve rebuild try Joe Hudacek at http://www.heatervalves.net/

I live in Canada and shipped it down to him, he rebuilt the whole thing and shipped it back the same week for $85. I tell you if you has of seen the valve it was rough...REALLY rough. The thing looks like brand new and he also included the required gaskets.
Great guy to deal with.

I second that! Joe rebuilt my valve last fall.had it back to me within a week as well.

Anyone have the contact info for this guy? Apparently his website is no longer up. I need to get the heater control valve in my Satellite working right again and classic auto air wants $155 plus shipping to rebuild it for me.

If anyone is still looking for repair of their control valve, there is a guy in California that does a great job!

Got any more info or some kind of web page/email/phone? I don't think it's going to work out too well if I just start calling guys in CA at random.

I had meant to reply on this thread again letting everyone know that I got no response after emailing Mr. Hudacek either, so I would assume he's no longer in the business of refurbishing control valves.

Is there a website? Who is he, and where is he located?
His name is Jim Tucker. He is in Valley Center, Ca 92082. Notify him through his email - jthcv@juno.com. The work looks great. I haven't tried it yet as it is going to be a few months before I start the car up. He returned it very quickly, too.
