Great day for a car show, me, my daughter, and a friend went to the Good Guys show today and wasn't disappointed. Here's a few pics of some cool cars, not a big fan of the orange Charger it had one style Cuda scoop on the side and the shaker scoop on the motor plus some ridiculous looking spoilers. The car that blew my mind was the Torino built by Rad Rides, this car is insane the amount of metal work. I saw the car last year in bare metal and it was this straight, the interior is almost all metal "no need for upholstery". Did you get to check out that '69 Valiant built by Greening Auto Company? I saw some pics of it on another website. I thought it was a pretty killer build.

Awesome pictures, thanks for sharing 747! Wish I could've been there. And x2 to being impressed by the Torino, saw a feature on it not long ago and absolutely blown away by the fabrication work put into that thing, just badass! Really like that gun metal grey '70 Charger too, "punisher" I think it was called, mean looking car for sure.

Not sure what they were thinking on that Orange Charger though.. between the shaker, rear wing, and the '70 Plymouth quarter scoops look really out of place to me.. :icon_scratch: just my $.02

Badass! Rarely see them with that wide of tires in the front too.

x2! Hot Rod magazine just did a feature on it profiling the build and testing it against a lamborghini, that thing is bad to the bone

man I'd love to learn how those guys do such beautiful metal work in those engine bays...

Yeah, I know what your saying. I go down there all proud of the work I'm doing and then am just floored by what these shops are capable of. You just have to remember most of these cars are $100,000+ cars using high dollar equipment to build and when they are done "they're trailer queens". When ours are done we'll likely wear out several sets of tires and maybe even have to rebuild them again.

Not, sure either. It's a beautiful car but the spoilers and side scoop ruin it for me (I believe that's a Cuda hood scoop on the side). I was totally digging the wide tire Rod as well "very cool car".

Ridetech car... That car won last years SEMA Invitational Ultima Battery Car challenge too, over a bunch of very impressive High-HP, well tuned & setup cars....

That car is an exception and it looks the part "all business". I've really been pondering building a 32 T bucket "a motor and a place to sit". I wonder what a bucket would look like set up like that. I'd have to check into titling it because I'd like to build frame body and all of coarse it would have an 8 3/4 rear and a mopar motor "likely a 318". Just dreaming

Yeah kinda sad all that work goes into these cars to basically be parked forever. But I do know the Torino was driven at Hot Rod Power Tour, so that's pretty cool at least some of them see some action

And yeah it's a shame it definitely is a gorgeous car but I guess just too overdone imo. And especially with how sleek the 2nd gen Charger bodies are to begin with, a lot of the time less is more. :shruggy:
