A while back roadrunnerh needed a power steering bracket. I had one that I didn’t need so I gave it to him. Recently he was selling something I needed. He returned the favor by not charging me anything.
Then I got to check out his cars and bullshit for a while.
Good people make this a good hobby.

we have some great people
& some truly generous members here
I've given away parts that I don't need
if someone is in the need & help cover the shipping
if it's big or come to pick it up, something like that
or if it's small enough to put in the mail
it's no big deal, to help out a fellow car guy

pass it on, good karma goes both ways

& I've also had people offer to give me
several small parts, I needed too

I don't advertise much either

most all of it usually directed thru PMs

I found the parts closer
so I didn't end up needing them, but it was much appreciated
even just the offer

@kiwigtx is one of them too

as much as I see a bunch of overpriced stuff
IMO it's sort of flippers gouging, that doesn't help the hobby at all
usually, someone that doesn't have many posts too
or only post for sale stuff


Seems now, usually shipping costs kills the deal
especially rural address to rural address

I also see so many of these types of threads
helps me keep the faith in our fellow members/man
