Who has experience with the Chinese re-pop wheel? I have read not so good things about the quality and am hesitant to buy but need, soon, a good black wheel. Any help? Thanks in advance.

From what I've heard they're ok, but not totally correct. They have some incorrect holes that some people don't like. I know of a guy in Michigan who specializes in restoring original wheels for our '62-65 cars. PM me if you want his email address. He might be able to help you out.

Thanks, but I have no wheel. I acquired the car with a tiny grant wheel on it and can not believe how hard it is to find an original. Easier to find parts for my 70 machine and amx. Last try before ordering a "new" one will be MID OHIO MOPARS @ the wayne county fairgrounds, then Canfield swap meet this weekend. I had a clear plastic wheel for my 64 Pontiac GP redone @ a cost of around twelve or thirteen hundred, hope these are not in that class or Grant it is.....thanks again tho.

Rick,

The guy I know of also sells original, restored wheels. He may have what you're looking for.
