Hey first post here. Bought a 1969 Sport Satellite a few weeks ago. Not going to clone it going to restore it as a Sport Satellite.

I love this car already hope to learn more about it here. Looking foward to participating in the forum!

Welcome Jim. I like the idea that you aren't going to clone it. there are so few Sport Satellites around that it is cool to see one. What engine/trans and options does it have?

Welcome aboard!Nothing wrong with the sport,if an engine upgrade is in your future, just wrap the original and do what you want:idea1:

Welcome, Jim. I had a '69 Sport Satellite that I drove as a winter car when my '70 GTX was in storage. It was a 318 car. I traded a '66 Ford station wagon even up for it. LOL I wish I still had it (and the GTX). Neat car.

welcome, it's good that you are going to keep the sport sat stock.

Ok got the car on the road last week. Been slow going but swapped the motor and the wiring, redid the seats, carpet and headliner. Looking for rims and tires now.

Will post in the gallery just as soon as I figure out how! LOL!

yah! I haven't figured out how to post in the gallery either.

Anybody out there that can tell us?

Click on "MEMBER PHOTO GALLERY" at the top of the page, in the header. The Click on "Manage My Photo Gallery" in the blue bar. Then you can add photos after submitting your description. Hope this helps guys.

welcome to FBBO, we love our pitchers here

Welcome Jimsome....

Good for you to restore as is, most of those S S cars get butchered into just about anything you can think of...they're just fine the way they are.

Good luck to you and keep us posted on your progress...:eek:ccasion14:

Welcome. I think its great that you're not cloning it. I'm doing a 68 Sport Satellite the same way.

welcome grasshoppahhhhhh...........when you have completed your sport satellite and snatch the pebble from my hand it will be time for you to leave....im showing my age...looking forward to the pixx!
