Hi-1st post over here. Been a Mopar guy for a long time but kinda got away from the car stuff for a while to focus on trucks-mainly diesel stuff for the last 11-12 years. Decided it was time to resurrect my 1st car-a '74 Charger that I took off the road in 1987 for a "quick paint job" that never materialized. So as soon as the weather here warms up (this has been an awesome winter here, but hey, it's still winter) I'll be dragging it up to the shop & starting to make it roadworthy again. Hope to have it moving again by the start of June, then make upgrades/repairs to it as time & money allow.

Thanks all-I'll snap a pic after the snowstorm passes-although as of now it's freezing drizzle..... Not much to look at right now-between the Sherwood Green and red oxide primer and the fact the front clip and rear bumper are off, it looks pretty sad. It'll be that way for a day or two I guess.

Welcome...Glad your aboard Jason! Good luck on your Charger and i hope you'll keep us updated..

Here's a couple of rather forlorn pictures taken after the blizzard abated yesterday. All the removed sheetmetal is sitting along with some spare stuff I took off a '73 SE I stripped for parts in the early '90s. Working on getting another one for some extra parts and hunting for a few other things as we speak.

Welcome Jason.Have you ever heard of heavy metal autowreckers in trochue alt? They are a complete mopar yard.

Yes I have-I've known Tim for longer than I've had the car, which is saying something as I've owned it since 1985.:laughing11: I should have bought some of the stuff he was trying to sell me 25 years ago for it, but we all have regrets like that I think. I may go over there tomorrow & prowl through what he has depending on the weather-in the last 10 days or so we've gotten the most snow we've had all winter-supposed to hit double digits here tomorrow. Looks like I have purchased a parts car to supply a few more treasures for the build, but there's a couple things I'm still missing.
