Howdy. We live just across from South Padre Island, in the southernmost part of Texas, about 15 miles as the crow flies from Elon Musk's Space X (which is now it's own city "Starbase") and the Rio Grande, the border with Mexico. The central town in the South Padre Island area is Port Isablel, which has the causeway that goes to South Padre Island itself.
There is a shop right on the road (Hwy 100) that turns into the causeway that is full of vintage Mopar vehicles, a couple big Dodge pickups with giant tires (way over 40") that are used for pulling people out of the sand when they get stuck on the beach, and more importantly some cool B-bodies under construction in the garage. I stopped and talked to the owner, he's a really nice guy. This is a tough area for vintage vehicles. Rust is a big issue here. (I previously lived in Vancouver, WA which has a huge vintage car scene and did a lot of great drive in shows, really saw some great cars there)
Dropping by that shop remined me that I really do love B bodies over all other cars, and want to learn more about them, and maybe find a nice one to tool around in. So that's why I'm here.
Thanks for building such a nice site.
