grill interchangeability

Have my first charger. So I'm unfamiliar with the parts.

I have a 74 and need grills.

Is there a major modification to change a 74 standard grill to a 74 hideaway grill?

Or is there any modifications to fit the 71 grills into a 74?

The hidden headlight option was dropped after 1972, so you might have to do some modifying to work around the different bumpers in those years.

no more than the full brackets and grilles asssembly for the 71/72 grill and hideaways setup. You can keep your own bumper

electrical parts, you can make your own harness and use a 5 pin bosch relay ( have the diagram for it ). No need to spend a hundred and a half bucks for a "correct" setup on that. Can be made in maybe $20-30

71/72 hideaways headlights brackets is an advise to get more room for hideaways doors when they lift up, but is not a must

also 72 setup could be easier than 71 because more 72s came out with those ( Topper, SEs, some Rallyes optionally... 71s just SEs and some R/Ts and Bees optionally ) although 71 is cleaner to the view and I like more ( if you care about )

Man I just sold a nice set of 74 grilles and 72 grilles, I have 2 hideaway setups but I plan on using them both. Let me poke around and see if I can come up with anything I know where a parts car is with a set of hideaways on it I've been bugging the guy to sell it to me I'll try again if your interested in a set
