My grandfather was a mason.
He died in someone's back yard.
At work.
I have a few of his tools, stone hammers, chisels, trowels and my favorite a 3 lb mash hammer with a very short wood handle.
It's still in good shape, I've hit many things with it over the years.
That may as well been1866.
