I'm putting together a 426 Hemi for my 1965 Plymouth Satellite. I'm after low-end torque more than high end horsepower for street use. I'm working with Powell Machine for the engine's cam. I'm using Hanson Stage Five Heads and Mr. Powell is asking for the flow numbers of the heads. Does anyone have the flow rate numbers for the Stage Five heads (stock, non-ported)?
Thanks for any help, Jim in Napa.

Stan Weiss cylinder head flow data.
Looks like 390/270 at .700, 350 at .500. Data is questionable.
There is a bunch of versions on Stan's site
As said below, get yours flowed if you want the correct answer.

There was a Stage V replacement head and a custom head. If yours say Hansen on them the are probably the custom heads. I used to buy the replacement heads. But either way usually I don't think either one of them could really be used "as-is". I've had many. Altho Stage V did offer some ported I'm not sure who was doing it. And besides there was a big valve head and a raised port head etc. You had to take them to someone to port them, or at least finish them. I guess what I'm trying to say is basically, it's impossible for anyone to tell you what YOURS flow. Sorry for the long unhelpful answer.

the “stock replacement” version of those heads were nothing great on the flow bench without some amount of porting.
They came from stage v basically “unfinished”.
Guides about .005 undersized, seats not even roughed in.

If the guides were finished and the seats were cut, and have “no porting”, but maybe a very quick bowl blend, I highly doubt they’re much different than the last version of the MP Hemi heads which were manufactured by Edelbrock………. those flowed about 310-315 ootb.

As Rick stated, there’s really only one way to know what yours flow………. Have one tested.

The custom version allows for a little better porting. I think Ray told me he gets 440 or a little better out of them. But I'm no help to the OP because I don't know if they are big valve or high port or who ported them etc. Too bad there's probably not a head shop near Napa. Customs are very custom.

I’d try and contact Rich Nedbal at FASTMAN EFI.
He’s in that area, is a hemi guy, and might have a local connection for a flow test.
