I use to buy allot from them every year at Carlisle. If I remember a family member past and the business was liquidated.Got to be at least 10 years ago.
When I lived in Kansas years ago, I done a lot of business with Harden's, even drove to his store to pick up the larger orders to save shipping cost. They were located on the NE side of the greater Kansas City metro area...
IIRC, he sold the business out to a larger company, but I can't remember exactly who it was....
They were located in a small town about 30 miles east of KC. I used to drive there to buy rather than online or phone. Some of the most knowledgeable people on mopars and just great people. I would go in there and talk to the owner/founder who was in a wheelchair the last several years. His family pretty much ran the business but he was the "technical service" person. If you had a question, he knew the answer. Their website was up for a few years after they closed indicating they sold their inventory to national parts depot. That was about 5 years ago. I believe that basically started the mopar line for NPD. Even though their prices were as cheap as anyone, I would have gladly paid more to do business with them.
