It’s on sale, less than $130. What are the pros and cons of using this tool?

I have one. It works great. The harbor freight drums fit it. They are much cheaper.

I have one. I like it. The various abrasive drums can be had on Amazon. So far, no cons on the unit. I've mostly used the carbide coated nylon bristle drum to prep bare metal for coatings. On rusted stuff it takes longer but thats ok

I just bought one from Harbor Freight. It was on sale for 99 bucks. I don’t know how it will work, I’m going to try it on an old door from my truck that needs replacing. I have the new door, just haven’t had time to R and R it yet. I’m hoping it will work to peel paint a little quicker than a DA. I’m going to play with it this weekend.

I like the idea, it says it won’t heat the metal up too much.

I use the HF stripping drums and then finish with Eastwood 80 grit flap drums.

That’s a good idea, I didn’t realize other companies drums would fit.

I have one. It definitely has its uses. I can't say I am impressed with it as much as I expected to be though. Watching their sales pitch video it works like magic. I haven't been able to replicate their paint stripping success in real life and I have a variety of drums for it. A friend built a monster BBQ/Smoker in my shop and the thing was perfect for removing surface rust from steel tubes and channels. He used it more than I ever have. I find myself grabbing my cheap 5" D.A. more than the Eastwood beast.

I have had mine for 5 years or so. I like the fact it doesn’t throw sparks like an angle grinder. I do use lots of the Harbor Freight wheels.
