Can anyone recommend a transport company to haul a 69 Roadrunner from Las Vegas to Ohio 45324? I need to find one by monday and get the ball rolling. Thanks in advance for any help or recommendations. Any feedback from anyone who has used a car haulers in the past would be helpful as well.

go to moparts.com they have a section on shipping cars, that might help.

If it is a running - driving car it shouldn't be to much of a problem to find a hauler. Nobody seems to want to deal with the non ops though. Try to bypass the brokers and deal directly with a company that has its own trucks. This will save you a bunch of headaches.

I used Able Auto Transport as a broker to find the best shipper, and they handled everything just great. All I had to do was sit home and have a few beers waiting for my car to arrive.

Intercity Lines. I've used them 4 times to transport across the country for both street and show cars. Never a problem. Great folks to work with and reasonable. Open carrier is way cheaper than enclosed, but I've done both. Highly recommend

uship

i have used uship several times for motorcycles, engines, running and non running cars. never had a bad experience, get shippers you like cards for when you have time. this is a good way to make it happen fast though you will pay... http://www.uship.com/

The only problem with uship is you get bombarded with brokers who will lowball the load and have trouble finding someone that will take your shipment for what they quoted.

I have used a google search for quotes in the past with good success. One inquiry will net 8-10 quotes. Avoid the low balls, Never pay any money up front asside from broker fees, check references, quotes are usually a little negotiable and be sure to get the drivers contact number. I always requested the same driver who picked the car up would deliver.... NO relays, off loading and reloading.

Good luck and post pic's once delivered.

Reliable Transport, used a couple of times great service competitively priced, they aren't the cheapest, but are very good, they treat a $1500 POS the same as a a $200k show car, I seen it 1st hand, with an old `Cuda I had shipped back to Calif. from Indy quite a few years back.... It was like $1500 then, I'm sure it's more now...

Had my 09 Challenger shipped enclosed from Allentown to San Jose. DAS. Reasonable. No damage or problems.

I'm with Budnicks on using Reliable, Of all the shipping I have done over the years they have been my favorite.

Got the roadrunner home yesterday

Needs little work with trim and a few paint scratches. Just wanted to say thanks to all for all the helpful info.

I put in the new door panels and interior.

Just a few shots of the new seats and door panels.
