Hello Folks,

This sight has proven to be MOST helpful. Thank you all for your great ideas. Especially my Shout Out goes to whoever recommended the Alum Foil for shining the chrome bits. Brilliant!!

On my 66 Coronet 500, the Edges around the Center console are Chrome. By that I mean that section between the outer edge and that portion that has the grooves. However they have what looks to be a "mist" of some sort of paint to seemingly "dull" the Chrome just on that section. I noticed it as well on the center of the Hub Caps.

Can someone tell me what that "Mist" is and how one applies it?? The Hub Caps have faded/yellowed and the sides of the Console are irregular in appearance. I would like to tidy them up, if it is possible??

Best,

B.
