Can anyone suggest headers to be used with Edlebrock performer rpm heads on a 440 Coronet r/t 500 stroker 550 hp.

The plugs arre angled and will likely interfere with the hooker headers I have now.

I've looked at TTI, but they are a little expensive.

yeah and the quality has gone downhill since they are made in mexico now, sad,I second the tti or maybe dougs headers.

Andrew, Those angled plugs are a pain. 2" and 1 7/8" Hookers dont fit on the passenger side, no. 2 plug is impossible to get to, drivers side is ok. You can modify them and get them to work. I am going to try a pair of Dougs with 2"dia tubes and i will post results, no.1 plug location looks to be tight but i need to verify. I do know the TTI's will fit with a 4 speed and no power steering, you have to grind a little if you use a Lakewood shatter sheild. I have no idea if how they fit with a 727 and power steering. I am using the small Chrysler starter on all of my installations with the top brass mounting terminals removed. hope this helps.

I guess TTI's are it. I do have a 4spd w/ no pwr steering. Anyway I priced the Hooker super Comps and they are in the sane range.
