Hello,

my heater control valve from my 65 Satellite has a leak. Rest of the heating is working. Is it possible to repair a heater control valve or I have to buy a new one?
Thank you!

I think you can have them rebuilt but I'm not 100% sure, I just saw one a short time ago for sale.....can't remember where though...duh. They are available on Ebay but after a quick search I didn't find one that looked like yours. They do offer a repair kit so you may be able to bebuild it yourself. The company below rebuilds them from what I read on a post. I did a lot of reading during my search and the one thing mentioned in every article was the fact that if the capulary tube is broken the valve can not be repaired so take care not to damage it. I also found that NAPA sells a repair kit but from what I read its easier to send the valve out to have it totally restored and tested. Hope this helps, someone may have other info on this matter too.

i found a new one on ebay. it cost $100 and i was tickled to give it. i think they would be a complicated rebuild with that rubber/fabric valve thingamajig.
