All this just for a core leak.
94 Dakota.

I haven’t seen too many cars or trucks, old or new, where the heater core and AC parts are ‘easy’. Most require a lot to dig them out of the dash.

Ford wanted 600 bucks to change one in a Taurus, I would have paid that if a second one was needed.....I know the pita....

Yikes, I hope my 93 doesn't start leaking.
All the mopars I've owned over the years, NEVER had a heater core leak.
Knock on fake wood.

I just disconnected the heater hoses and gently used air compressor to blow out the leaky core of any liquid. No more heat in my summer car.

2003 Dodge Ram, HVAC doors cost about $50-60 for all 3. Labor to remove entire dash to get to them, a touch over 1k. Feel your pain.

Car Wizard YouTube videos show a recent model range rover heater core job at $3500. Heater core is $140.

Yep...my 2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee WJ had to have the whole dash out for that....it was the tiniest of leaks too.
